Inspiring Women

This year is the sixth annual Inspiring Women’s Event and Award!

“Inspiring Women” is a full day event designed to motivate, inspire, connect and celebrate women in business, professionals, entrepreneurs and corporate leadership. Since 2006, over 2,800 women have participated in this unique day of learning, sharing experiences and information, acquiring new contacts, networking with peers and learning from the experts. This event is truly a motivational experience geared towards entrepreneurs and career women from all business sectors.

“Inspiring Women” continues to have a strong attendance from community leaders, municipalities and the non-profit sector.

Prior years have included prominent speakers such as:

2011 – Arlene Dickinson of CBC’s Dragon’s Den & Silken Laumann, Olympian
2010 – Naomi Judd, Celebrity Musican & Anna Olson, Food Network Chef
2009 – Erin Brockovich, Environmental change agent and advocate
2008 – Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, author, health advocate and philanthropist

The 2012 Program will feature six speakers for an outstanding line up of highly motivated and accomplished personalities, professionals and entrepreneurs.

The 2012 Program will feature six outstanding speakers including: Debbie Travis, Linda Lundstrom, Tosca Reno, Michelle Dunk, Tahani Aburaneh and Natalie MacNeil; plus 3 professional development break-out sessions, presented by the KW Chamber of Commerce Women’s Leadership Committee.
